Authorities are looking for the man accused of robbing a Chevron gas station on East Gloria Switch Road right off I-49. Corporal Paul Mouton with Lafayette Police say it happened overnight around 1:30. Officers say the man went into the convenience store with a gun and a bandana covering his face. Authorities say he demanded money from the register and took all of it. Police say he then left the store and got away in an older model gray colored Buick. The clerk wasn't injured during the robbery. The suspect is described as a black male about 5'7", 125 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black pants and a silver belt.
