LPD spokesman Corporal Paul Mouton says the 19-year-old victim was walking on the sidewalk in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Drive when an older model Cadillac stopped in the roadway near him, a person inside fired a shot from the window that struck him in the right leg, and then the Cadillac sped away. The victim is in good condition.
