Lafayette Police Make Additional Arrests In Robbery Of Poydras Business
LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- Police have arrested two additional people in connection with the robbery of an Arnould Blvd. business last week.
Lafayette Police Cpl. Paul Mouton says 40-year-old Terrill Poydras and 42-year-old Marlene Sampy were both arrested on charges of principle to first degree robbery.
Poydras is the uncle of the robbery suspect, 32-year-old Lonnie Poydras, Mouton says, while Sampy is Terill Poydras' girlfriend. She was also the employee inside the business when it was robbed.
Poydras turned himself in Monday without incident and was charged with first degree robbery.
