An arrest was made by Lafayette City Police following a Friday robbery and shooting.

Lafayette Police say the victim was parked in his car near the intersection of Irene and Edison Streets when the suspect got into the victim's car, pulled out a gun, and demanded property. As the victim drove away, the suspect several shots at him, one gunshot striking his windshield. It was at this point that the victim crashed his car at the intersection of Edison and North University Avenue. The suspect fled the area, but officers arrested him Saturday following a traffic stop. Codderick Fox has been charged with attempted second degree murder and armed robbery.
