I love stories like this.

A little boy was leaving the Grand Theater in Lafayette this past weekend when he fell to the ground and scraped his hand and knee. Luckily a police officer saw the fall and sprung into action.

Like most 4-year-old kids Kruz was very upset upon injuring himself. Well, a Lafayette Police Officer, who was stationed in front of the theater, saw Kruz fall and that's when he made his way towards the young boy.

Officer Tombu Mercier had the essentials to make things better for Kruz and even distracted the little boy from his injuries by letting him wear some police gear after his fall.

According to Kruz, Officer Mercier "saved his life." What a moment for both.
