Lafayette Police Probe Elderly Woman’s Death
LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Detectives are investigating the Monday death of a 92-year-old Lafayette woman.
Around noon Monday, the Lafayette Police Department responded to a residence in Village Du Lac, in reference to the death.
The Advertiser reports initially the investigation did not reveal anything suspicious. The body was later examined by the coroner and determined to be a homicide.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Lafayette Police or CrimeStoppers at 337-232-TIPS.
