Lafayette Police Say Robbery Victim Threw Money To Distract Criminals
Last night, Lafayette Police were called out to a business in the 100 block of Lee Avenue after a man complained that two men attempted to steal the victim's shoulder bag.
The victim says he was approached by two black males and when they attempted to steal his bag he says he threw money on the ground to distract the men.
He says the two suspects were then distracted by the move, they took the money and fled.
The victim was not injured.
