Lafayette Police Say Victims Shot While Sitting In Car

Early Friday morning Lafayette Police were called to a local hospital after getting word that two women had been shot.

The women told police they were sitting in a car near the 900 block of East Simcoe when an unknown suspect shot into their car.

One woman was shot in the shoulder and the arm, while the other woman was shot in the shoulder.

Both women were treated for their injuries, and both are said to be in stable condition.

The suspect fled the area by unknown means according to police.
