Lafayette Police Seek Two Robbery Suspects

Friday night, Lafayette Police were called out to the 100 block of East Gloria Switch Road after a man was robbed.

The victim says he was walking down the street when he knew he was being followed. He stopped to sit on a bench where he thought he would be seen on a business' camera.

The two suspects demanded the man's money before they beat him up about the face and body.

The suspects took his money from his pockets, and the two of the them ran away. The victim was treated and then released from a local hospital.

The victim says the suspect was a thin black male who had short hair. That suspect was wearing a blue shirt with black pants.

The second suspect was described as a heavy set black man with short hair, and he was wearing a black shirt along with blue shorts.

Anyone with information about the man's robbery is being asked to call the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
