Lafayette Police Seeking Identity Of Carwash Suspect

Lafayette police are trying to identify the person who tried to rob a carwash a little over a week ago.

According to Lafayette Police Department spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton, the suspect is seen on surveillance video trying to break into the money receiver of an automated carwash on Pinhook Road.

The suspect used a crowbar and damaged the machine during the early morning incident on Oct. 1, and he's seen fleeing the scene in a four door dark green Infinity J30 sedan.
