Lafayette Police Target Dead Beat Dads

Dead beat dads were the targets for police in the early morning hours Wednesday. Captain Kip Judice with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says deputies rounded up five offenders who've failed to make child support payments.

10 other warrants were settled after those people arranged to make payments, either partially or in full.

The most dead beat offender in the parish, though, is still wanted. Judice says Carl Breaux owes more than 100-thousand dollars in child support. If you know where he is, call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
