Lafayette Police To Conduct OWI Checkpoint Saturday

Lafayette Police continue their crackdown against impaired driving this weekend.
Saturday, July 21, between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., officers will be conducting an OWI Checkpoint within the incorporated areas of Lafayette. Officers will be looking for drivers under the influence of alcohol or any other dangerous substance.
Police will respond with zero tolerance. Police advise you to designate a driver if you intend to drink because it could result in costly fines and serious jail time.
