Lafayette parish voters could head to the polls to decide on a property tax to pay for improving poor school conditions.  Under the school system's 1.1 billion dollar master plan, seven schools would be replaced including Northside and Lafayette high schools.  The tax would fund at least 600 million dollars of the plan The school board is expected to discuss when the proeprty tax should go on the ballot at the next board meeting in two weeks.
