Lafayette Road Closure Begins Today And Lasts Until October 12

In Lafayette, Queensberry Drive at Failla Road was closed today and will stay closed until 5 PM on Monday, October 12. Lafayette traffic officials say this is for workers to do sewer infrastructure construction. There will be detour routes made available.

Also, for today only, La. 182 at the Berwick Bridge over the Atchafalaya River in St. Mary Parish is closed until 3:30 p.m. as crews perform routine bridge inspections. DOTD officials says the detour route will include U.S. 90.
