Lafayette Road Closures Happening On Sunday

The 2016 Zydeco Marathon is happening on Sunday, through parts of the Oil Center. With that, there will be a few road closures to keep in mind.

• Heymann Blvd., between Oil Center Drive and South College Road
• South College Road, between Coolidge Street and Heymann Blvd.
• Intersection of South College Road at Coolidge Street

These road closures will happen from about 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. around Lafayette General Medical Center (LGMC). Visitors will be able to access the LGMC parking garage from the South College Road entrance next to the Heymann Center.

The Emergency Entrance off Hospital Drive will remain open to both private and emergency vehicles.
