Lafayette Road Closures This Week

There are multiple road closures happening in Lafayette this week. 2 of them start today and the other one happens on Friday.

First, Auburn Drive between Albert Street and Clo Drive is closed now until 9 AM Wednesday, May 24, as drainage infrastructure construction is being performed in the neighborhood.

Second, Veterinarian Road between W. Butcher Switch Road and Coussan Road is closed from 5 PM Wednesday until 12 AM Thursday as crews perform sewer infrastructure installations.

Detour routes are available in both instances.

Also, Polk Street between E. Congress Street and Garfield Street will be closed on Friday from 12 PM to 11 PM for the Relay for Life of Lafayette Parish event.

Drivers are urged to find alternate routes.
