There are a few road/lane closures happening in Lafayette over the next few days.

First, on U.S. 90, between Bellevue and Congress, will be reduced to one lane to allow Lafayette Utilities System to repair a water leak. This will happen from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19. Also, the outside westbound lane of Johnston Street, located .23 miles south of La. 724, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday for the installation of a deceleration lane. This area will be closed again on Tuesday, July 21, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to continue construction.

There are two road closures beginning on Monday, July 20. North Buchanan Street at the Railroad Crossing will be closed starting at 6 AM on Monday and will last until 5 PM Friday, July 24. Also, the 900 block of St. John Street between W. Vermilion and W. Main Street will be closed starting at 7 AM on Monday and will last until 5 PM Tuesday, August 4. There will be detour routes made available in both road closures.

Also, a portion of South College Road, the right lane coming from Myrtle Street for 150 feet toward Johnston Street, will be closed on Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
