Lafayette School Bus Driver Arrested For OWI

John H. Bernard was arrested today as a result of the investigation into a Lafayette Parish school bus crash that happened on March 12th. A warrant was issued for Bernard's arrest after a blood alcohol content test indicated Bernard had a blood alcohol level of .04 percent at the time of the accident. Bernard's bond has been set at $40,000.
