Lafayette School Superintendent Positive About Future

Dr. Pat Cooper, superintendent of Lafayette Parish Public Schools, says he is extremely encouraged by this week's education summit.

The superintendent joined "Mornings With Ken and Bernie" today to highlight the conference, and to also talk about his views on changing the entire school system.

Dr. Cooper says parental involvement is what educators always say they want, but he said, "They don't".  He then explained that yes, that sounds nice, but in reality, educators want commitment to educating children along with a strong system.
