Lafayette Sheriff's Department officials have one man under arrest for an armed robbery, and they are currently looking for a second suspect.

Deputies were called out to the 200 block of Marigny Circle early Saturday morning after two people called for help after being robbed at gunpoint.

The victims say they were standing near an apartment when they were approached by two black males, one of whom, was armed with a handgun.  The victims were forced onto their knees, and their wallets were stolen.  Both say they had a considerable amount of cash stolen from them.

Investigators say they located and arrested one man, 19-year-old Rasheed Lindon of Duson.  He has been charged with armed robbery.

Lafayette deputies are still trying to locate 18-year-old Anfernee Morrison of Duson.  Anyone with information is urged to call Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-8477.
