Lafayette General Health says they will be helping with a t-shirt fundraising effort to build playgrounds at the Lafayette Central Park at the Horse Farm.

T-shirts will be sold for $20 from Louisiana Hot Stuff at 4409 Ambassador Caffery Parkway Suite 200 starting this Friday. You can even pre-order at LouisianaHotStuff.com or by calling 337-981-3132.

All of the money, one hundred percent of the funds from the t-shirt sales will be donated to the non-profit Lafayette Central Park.

Jillian Johnson's family asked that donations be made to Lafayette Central Park.

LGH also plans to donate a portion of the United Way campaign coming up this October to LSU-Eunice for a Radiologic Technology scholarship in Mayci Breaux's name.

LGH President David L. Callecod, FACHE says,

"We are all still deeply saddened by this senseless tragedy. As a community-owned non-profit health system, we feel a tremendous sense of obligation to assist in Acadiana's recovery. There is no truer innocence than children at a playground and Lafayette Central Park is going to be a shining example of our community's resilience."

No t-shirts will be available at any of the LGH hospitals.
