Public meetings are being held on Wednesday to discuss keeping property tax millages the same rate to bring in more money.

The property values in the area are expected to be up with the yearly reassessment.

The public agencies that deal with the millages can choose to keep them the same so that we can see more money, or allow them to automatically reduce, as they usually do, in order to generate the same revenue as they did for the reassessment.

The sheriff's office meeting is set to happen at 10 A.M. at the Sheriff's Office downtown administration building. The school board will hold a public hearing at 4 P.M..
