Lafayette Teen Arrested For Allegedly Robbing Drug Dealer
Police in Lafayette arrested a teenager after he allegedly helped in the armed robbery of a drug dealer.
Police said Bryce Jordan and two others drove to a park in La fayette in order to buy marijuana from the alleged victim, but when they met the dealer, one of Jordan's unidentified accomplices pulled out a gun and robbed the victim of his phone, wallet, $50 in cash, as well as a handgun. The group fled the scene in Jordan's car.
Police said the victim followed the group until a person jumped out of the car and pointed a gun at him. KATC reported the victim swerved, hitting the gunman and sending his car into a nearby home.
Jordan was identified as a suspect after police found his cell phone nearby.
The case remains under investigation.
