Lafayette Woman Arrested In Stabbing

Police say a Lafayette woman faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder.  The woman is facing the charges for allegedly slitting a man's throat.

Officers say when they got there, they found Chandra Hamilton standing outside.  Police say she told them that the victim's throat was cut and she did it.

Police say the man was found with a 3 inch cut to his throat.  Hamilton is being held on 150,000 dollar bond.
