Lafayette’s Festival International Starts Tomorrow

Tomorrow marks the start of the 26th annual Festival International in downtown Lafayette.  Festival board member Monica Hebert joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" today to invite everyone to Lafayette "for the best free music festival in the world as voted on my members of about.com".

Zydeco Night starts Festival International tomorrow evening with the official grand opening ceremonies Thursday evening at Parc International.  The Festival runs through Sunday evening with closing ceremonies at 6:00PM.  With five stages running simultaneously and one hundred performances Hebert said there will be something for every musical taste.

Hebert reminded listeners to buy Festival pins and souvenirs to help keep the Festival free.  She also suggested everyone download the Festival App from iTunes.
