Lafayette’s Northside High Will Get A Makeover

Things will be changing in a major way for Northside High School after a vote of the Lafayette Parish School Board this week.  The Board members have signed off on a major makeover for Northside High School.  The plan means that the school will go through re-staffing, and board members hope that will translate into a new beginning as far as state accountability scores.

Northside High School has many issues including the fact that they are the lowest performing high school in the district.  There are many reasons for the rating when you factor in attendance levels, graduation rates and state accountability scores.
