Lafourche Parish Police Officer Arrested For Cooking Meth
A Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office police officer was forced to resign after a meth lab was found in his home.
37-year-old Ashley Pollard of Golden Meadow was arrested Monday after a search warrant executed on his home. Officers were able to recover paraphernalia used to cook methamphetamine as well as completed product.
Pollard later admitted to cooking the illegal drug for personal use, saying the meth helped him deal with the post dramatic stress disorder he developed while serving overseas as a member of the military.
