Lake Charles Man Arrested For Aggravated Rape

(KPEL) — A Lake Charles man already in jail for distributing child pornography is facing additional allegations that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile girl.

Sgt. James Anderson with Louisiana State Police Troop D says 35-year-old David Shelton is being charged with aggravated rape. Shelton had been arrested July 12 on the child pornography charges and is in the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.

Bond has been set at $300,000.
