Lake Charles Man Charged With Death of Child

A Lake Charles man is under arrest in connection with the Monday death of an 18-month-old child. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso says Efrem "Jay" Ogwin was booked Wednesday with charges of second-degree murder after his office was contacted by officials at W.O. Moss Regional Hospital. The parish coroner says the autopsy revealed signs of foul play.
