Lake Charles Man Faces Second Round Of Child Porn Charges

A Lake Charles man has been arrested for the second time  in two years for downloading child pornography to his computer.

Sgt. James Anderson, Public Affairs Officer for Louisiana State Police Troop D, says 25-year-old John Winfield was arrested Tuesday following an Operation Child Watch investigation. Police found the pornography on a computer in his home, Anderson says.

Winfield was arrested on February of 2010 on similar charges, Anderson says.

Winfield has been booked into the Calcasiue Parish Correctional Center on a $400,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
