Lake Charles Woman Booked With Child Desertion

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers tells the American Press (http://bit.ly/cseYHv) Terri D. Harrison was arrested Friday.

Myers says deputies discovered four small children — ages 6, 5, 4 and 1 — were left unattended inside their home.

She says the children were removed from the home and placed with family members.

Judge Wilford Carter set Harrison's bond at $1,000.

It was unclear whether Harrison has an attorney.
