Lake Charles Woman Sentenced For Wire Fraud

61 year old Carol Thrasher of Lake Charles was sentenced to three years in prison, three years of supervised release and $551,357 in restitution. Judge Richard Haik sentenced her for taking money from the company where she worked to pay the majority of her living expenses including shopping, dining, vacations and gambling.

The thefts occurred over a five year period.
