BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — With hours to go before Saturday's runoff election in Louisiana, underdog Sen. Mary Landrieu is running through her talking points.

Seniority and clout. Energy committee leadership. The Keystone XL pipeline. Her opponent's timesheets. And a slap at the national Democrats who abandoned her bid for reelection. She's hit each topic since the Senate race headed into overtime.

Rep. Bill Cassidy is Landrieu's Republican opponent. Cassidy is sticking to a single theme: Tying Landrieu to Obama. Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor and North Carolina's Kay Hagan lost re-election bids on Nov. 4 after being pummeled by similar Republican-driven, anti-Obama strategies.

Landrieu is trying to hang on to the last statewide Democratic-held seat in the Deep South. But she is the underdog in her race.
