Landrieu Comments On President’s Budget Speech

WASHINGTON

– United States Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-Louisiana, issued the following statement today in response to President Obama’s speech on the nation’s budget.

Sen. Landrieu said: “The attention and focus the president provided today to the challenge of our debt and deficit is important, but of course, we are going to need more specifics about his plans. Until then, I will continue to work with all of my colleagues here in the Senate to help find the right path to a balanced budget.”
