Landrieu Pushing For Disaster Funds To Be Replenished

For a third time, Senator Mary Landrieu is urging the Obama administration to put more money into America's Disaster Relief Fund.  Hurricanes and floods helped put the fund more than one-billion dollars in the red for Fiscal Year 2011.  She says the shortfall has grown to three-billion dollars for Fiscal year 2012 all while, Governor Bobby Jindal says plans are to open the Bonnet Carre Spillway as early as Monday to ease pressure on Louisiana levees from the rising Mississippi River.
