Lane Closure For Highway 92 Monday & Tuesday

The Louisiana Department of Transporation and Development says that they will be closing the westbound lane of traffic on one section of Highway 92 next week.

DOTD officials will close the westbound lane on Highway 92 between the Verot School Road and East Broussard Road.

The work is starting this Monday, July 11 and will run through Thursday, July 14.

The work will be done each day between 6 o'clock in the morning and 7 o'clock at night, weather permitting.

It's part of ongoing construction in that area.

DOTD recommends the following detour route:

South on LA 339 (Verot School Road) from Lafayette to west on LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery Parkway) to south on US 167 (Johnston Street) to east on LA 733 (East Broussard Road) to LA 92 (Milton Avenue).
