Lane Closures Happening This Week On I-10

Beginning tonight (Monday), there will be nightly lane closures happening on I-10 in Iberville and West Baton Rouge Parishes from mile post 135 to mile post 137. The Eastbound closures will start at 10:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 a.m. from Monday until Sunday as crews construct the I-10 cable barrier system. You can expect heavy delays.

Suggested Detour Route: Take I-10 EB to I-49 NB. Proceed north to US 190 EB. Take US 190 east to LA 415. Proceed south on LA 415 SB to I-10 EB.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in St. Martin and Iberville Parishes will have alternating lane closures in both directions for a sweeping operation. This will happen from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. each day.
