Lane Closures Start Tonight On I-10 Atchafalaya Bridge

Workers will be installing a new fiber cable over an 8-mile stretch of the Atchafalaya Bridge heading Eastbound on Interstate 10 beginning tonight. This will happen in the outside lane from MP 127 to MP 135. These closures will be less than ¼ mile in length and will periodically move further east to another location and redeploy a short lane closure in the outside lane.

Closure times are as follows:

• Wednesday, June 7, 2017 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM Thursday, June 8, 2017
• Thursday, June 8, 2017 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2017
• Friday June 9, 2017: 7:00 PM –6:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2017
• Saturday, June 10, 2017 :00 PM – 6:00 AM Sunday, June 11, 2017
