There will be restriping work on Interstate Ten tonight and Thursday night that will mean lane closures on both the Eastbound and Westbound sides of the road.

Department of Transportation and Development officials say that the road work over the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will have lane closures between 9 o'clock at night through five o'clock the following morning.
Officials say the road work will start on the Westbound side and then move to the Eastbound side.
DOTD say the closures will happen throughout the rest of this month depending on daily traffic and weather conditions.

If people have issues regarding the closures, you can call the Project Engineer, Brian Owens, at (225) 231-4123.
