Lane Shift For An Opelousas Road Project

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is making a road change in Opelousas.

Officials say that starting immediately, Louisiana Highway 182 between East Dunbar and Honeysuckle Lane, will have a lane shift on both sides of the roadway.

The change is needed for road crews to construct a turning lane, and they will also add more improvements to the road in that area.

The lane shift will continue from today through Monday, December 14th.
