Lane/Road Closures Scheduled Next Week For Interstate 10

Next week, there are multiple lane/road closures scheduled to happen on Interstate 10 in Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parishes.

In Calcasieu Parish, the I-10 Eastbound and Westbound right lanes will be closed on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• I-10 Westbound right lane from Kirkman St. to Ryan St. (MP 30.5 to MP 31) will be closed from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  The I-10 westbound Kirkman St. on-ramp and the I-10 westbound Ryan St. off-ramp will also be closed.
• I-10 Eastbound right lane at Calcasieu River Bridge (MP 28 to MP 29.8) will be closed from 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm.
  The I-10 Eastbound Lake Shore Drive off-ramp will also be closed.

Also in Calcasieu Parish, the I-10 eastbound left lane from Enterprise Blvd (MP 31.6) to Opelousas St. (MP 32.6) will be closed Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Workers will be replacing signs in all of these closures.

And in Jefferson Davis Parish, I-10 Milepost 55 (East of LA 99 WELSH Interchange) will be closed in both directions on Tuesday for short durations between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Traffic officials say the closures will not last longer than 10 minutes. Entergy will be installing overhead power lines.
