Lawmakers To Hold Public Hearings On Louisiana’s Highway Priority Program

In a couple of weeks, you get the chance to give your input on the state's highways. Community meetings will be held across the state as legislators and state transportation officials will outline Louisiana's highway priority program and discuss planned projects for specific areas of the state. Two of the meetings are scheduled for the Acadiana area on Wednesday, February 8th. The first one, District 7, will be in Lake Charles at the Civic Center Contraband Room beginning at 9:30 AM. The meeting for District 3 will follow at 3 PM at the Clifton Chenier Center in Lafayette.
