Lawtell Man Arrested For Sexual Battery On A Student

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office has released information about the arrest of 57-year-old Olan Beinvenue.  He was charged him with sexual battery upon a victim under fifteen years of age.

The janitor was arrested for touching the juvenile's genital area.

On Friday, October 28, the student got off a bus at Lawtell Elementary from another school and asked the janitor to show here where the haunted house was.

When the juvenile was taken into the room, that when the victim says she was touched in her genital area.

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says that Bienvenue admitted to touching the girl when he was interviewed.
