LOS ANGELES (AP) — The FBI says the gunman accused of opening fire at Los Angeles International Airport had a handwritten letter that read of his intention to kill multiple TSA officers and "instill fear in your traitorous minds."

Paul Ciancia (see-AHN'-see-uh) is under armed guard as he recovers from four gunshot wounds.

Authorities say he killed a TSA officer and wounded three other people.
