LCG Establishes Center For Emotional Support Following Shooting
Lafayette Consolidated Government has opened a Family Information Center to provide information and emotional support to the community following the Grand Theater shooting.
The family information center, located at 911 Lee Ave. in downtown Lafayette, will open its doors at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 26. Beginning Monday, the center will be opened from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
The center is open to first responders, family and friends of those lost and injured, or to the public needing emotional support in the wake of the tragic events that rocked the community last week.
The center is being provided free of charge to the public through a governmental insurance policy.
