LEAP Testing Now Underway In Louisiana

Fourth and eighth grade public school students across the state have begun LEAP testing today.

Phase One, today's testing, consists of writing and constructed response. Phase Two, which will feature multiple choice questions, is scheduled for April 12th and the 13th.

Passing the LEAP test is vital because education officials say any student entering fifth or ninth grade before next school year must pass it.
