Lebesque Road Home Destroyed By Fire

Last night (Wednesday) firefighters from Lafayette, Scott, Carencro and Duson responded to a house fire in the 200 block of Lebesque Road. When firefighters arrived they found the carport and parts of the home on fire. In addition two vehicles were burning. It took forty minutes to get the blaze under control. The home and vehicle sustained heavy fire damage while all the occupants were able to safely exit. Investigators determined the fire started under the carport. Cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
