Police Enforcing Left Lane Violations on I-10 Cite Many

I-10 between Sulpher and the Texas state line was the sight of a left lane enforcement detail this morning. In just two hours, 42 citations were issued. A mix of marked and unmarked vehicles were used to find offenders that would not move from the left lane to allow other traffic to pass.
For years, Louisiana has had a law requiring traffic to keep right, and pass on the left.
