Legislative Committee To Review New La. Education Superintendent’s Proposed Pay Check

The state's new Superintendent of Education John White will have his proposed pay check reviewed by the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget. BESE Head Penny Dastugue is looking to improve the $275,000 pay package offered to White that includes six percent annual pay hikes if he gets positive evaluations from BESE.
