Lafayette General Medical Center's Cancer Center of Acadiana is looking for people between the ages of 18 and 80 with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma to be a part of their clinical trial.

The study will have patients at different hospitals across American, and their goal is to find out how effective a drug might be that is used in conjunction with chemotherapy.

They are looking for people who have not been treated, but have activated B-cell, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Since this study is in the third phase, the drugs they are testing may then be approved for the entire population.

Dr. Salman Malad, a local oncologist, will be the person overseeing the study.
